Client: SCM GROUP
Solution adopted: Spare Parts Catalog Builder (SPCB), Web Spare Parts (WSP)
Introduction
The project stems from SCM Group‘s need for an online catalog for the B2B sector capable of:
- automating the process of recovering old 2D manuals, integrated into the internal e-commerce system;
- providing its customers with interactive spare parts catalogs in 2D format, quickly and without any possibility of error;
- selecting and ordering spare parts and obtaining quotes/orders online;
- always being updated in real time on stock availability and on the estimated time for the procurement of the goods.
Solution Adopted
Specifically, the following SYS Suite® modules were used:
- Spare Parts Catalog Builder (SPCB), needed for the automatic generation of databases (valid for all applications) and interactive spare parts catalogs in 2D, starting from ERP, PLM and/or other company data sources.
- Web Spare Parts (WSP), the web component of the Integrated Service Digital System by Sygest, dedicated to the publication of digital catalogs for the B2B company, to the management of quotes and the sale of spare parts, and to the management of sales and after-sales documentation, with integration with the company ERP:
– zero effort in publishing spare parts online;
– improvement of after-sales services;
– increase in spare parts sales;
– less time spent retrieving information;
– enhancement of communication with customers.
