Web Spare Parts (WSP)

Company

With over two decades of expertise in packaging lines and packaging machinery in the beverage, food and chemical industries, FIPAL has established itself as a benchmark for the design and implementation of complete and reliable solutions. Over the years, credibility, trust and customer satisfaction have grown steadily, consolidating FIPAL's position on the packaging scene.

Solution adopted

The collaboration between FIPAL and Sygest was shaped by the need to move away from traditional spare parts catalogues, adopting 3D technology instead to create an interactive catalogue accessible via a web portal. This innovative solution eliminates the need to rely on two-dimensional drawings, allowing the direct use of 3D models of machines.

For spare parts management and sales, FIPAL chose Sygest's Web Spare Parts (WSP) platform, a dedicated web solution that includes spare parts management and offers related after-sales services. Leveraging the technology of SYS Suite®'s Spare Parts Catalog Builder application and CAD-derived data, it is possible to automatically generate interactive catalogues in 3D format and order spare parts with a few simple clicks.

In addition to this, Web Spare Parts, integrated with the ERP, provides real-time stock availability and, if a part is not available, estimates delivery times. With the aim of offering a complete service, FIPAL's web portal also includes attachments with technical documentation, making it a single interface for all documents required by the customer, from service to after-sales.

One of the outstanding features of Web Spare Parts is the visual representation, via coloured cubes directly on the 3D model, of the connections to the electrical and pneumatic diagrams of the system. This integration of information allows users to quickly obtain the desired information and add the desired spare parts to the shopping basket with just a few clicks.
The latest innovations introduced by FIPAL include the possibility of opening a ticket quickly and intuitively: simply select the desired component from the viewer and click 'ticket'. The user and manufacturer will receive an email with all the necessary information, initiating an autonomous ticket management.
In addition, the generation of a QR code from the web portal was implemented: by placing the code on the machine and framing it with a smartphone, users can directly access the web portal, simplifying the process of searching and purchasing the necessary spare parts.
These innovations testify to FIPAL's commitment to continuously improving the customer experience, offering advanced and affordable solutions in the industrial packaging sector.
