In particular, Imball has automated the process of spare parts request for quotation, by digitising the spare parts manual in 3D with Sygest's Digital Advanced Visualization (DAV) solution.
Solution Adopted
The DAV is a desktop application available both offline and online, which allows you to manage models in 3D format and related documentation linked to the machine via an interactive catalogue. It permits you to display the information associated with individual components in the bill of materials.
Through the 'Procedures' function, the user has access to an interactive animation that allows viewing the assembly in its various steps and interrupting it when necessary in order to insert components of interest in the shopping cart. Through this feature, maintainers and manufacturers can make decisions on how to proceed quickly and carry out consistent maintenance on machines, as well as being useful for staff training.
In addition, by scanning the QrCode attached to the main machine assembly, it is possible to display the information associated with the individual components of the bill of materials.
